Well, I got my new glasses- and the same day I got em I got this aweful cold in my eye so its all swollen and red and putting my glasses on and they water more- so I havent even been able to show them off or be hot in them. Damnit. They are black and pink- will take a picture as soon as my eyeball returns to its normal shape, size and color. Ugg.

I went out and bought myself some new nails too. Ok, I know they seem like a waste of money and so on.. but I have tried for 2 years now to grow them myself- getting manicures, taking pills, appling mircle treatments to them... nothing.... they get so so and then peel. My job is just too hard on them. So, I got fake ones. I was going to get cable ordered up as I just finished off my car payments and had a little breathing room.. but decided that nails would make me happier.

I know its shallow and silly- but they make me feel better about myself.. they boost my self esteem and make me feel pretty. And thats more important to me then sitting on the couch watching television that I dont need in my head. So.. there. I painted them pink to match my new glasses too :P
