Soooo...I have lost my mind just a bit. I went to the pet store, always a bad idea, and I bought 50 bucks worth of silly tubes and wheels and domes all for my hamster.
He now has enough tubes to cross from the book case and onto my desk. His tubes pass the front of the fishtank for his viewing pleasure. Then from there he can travel over the top and into his bedroom. There is also a lovely stop at a multi-directional wheel.
I am like the super engineer/architech of plastic hamster cages.
He may still not like me- but he has the coolest frickin hamster dwelling ever!
Perhaps I am just makeing up for never haveing one as a child. Perhaps its a mid-twentys crisis.
