Being that I have thought it was Wednesday all day today...I have been thinking about the word hump.

Such a funny word hump. You dont hear it much outside the elementry school yard.

I once got suspended from the school bus for the word hump. I was in 2nd grade.

I rode the bus with my neighbor, Tia. She liked one of the older boys that sat in the back of the bus and wanted to give him a not. Alas, being a 1st grader- she lacked the writting skills for such an endevour.

So, she dictated a note to me. It went like this:

Dan, I want to hump you- Tia.

She folded it neatly and passed it to him. There was a lot of ruckus and eventually the bus driver got a hold of the letter.

He started telling Tia that she was suspended and she promptly piped up to let him know that I had in fact written the note.

Didnt like her much after that.

The bus driver got to my stop where my Father was waiting for me. The bus driver gave him the note and said I was not allowed on the bus for a week.

Needless to say I was grounded from the television as well. And that is the end of the world to a 2nd grader- I pleeded my case to my Father, but my Scooby Doo time was still taken. Damn that Tia!
