Wow, I guess its been nearly a year since I last updated here. There are many many reasons for this, some complicated, others simple. But of late I have felt the need to reclaim many things in my life as new and alive again. Like this place, like lightning bugs. Ive drowned so much.

Onward though, here we go.

Paul bought a ring.

A part of me feels like, the jig is up. All my insecurities and neurosis are about to be completely discovered. Ive been more open, and in turn, more defensive then ever with him. I feel splayed open with no where to hide. And so far, he has taken it; explored it with compassion and empathy. And been able to love me anyways.

So I am moving in with him and getting married this fall. 10-10. Seems so far away still but I know its not. Perhaps I just choose not to believe it until it happens.

Art life has been full of late. Had a couple of art walk shows down town and this weekend I am attending an auction fundraiser where I was invited to donate a peice. Should be interesting to see what happens there.

Thats about it for now. I wont be gone so long next time.
