Well, I am buying a house. Its in Chester, which is a little township about 10 min outside of Rochester. The house is in need of a make over- its structure is in good shape, but its ugly. Its 1700 sq feet- living room, dining room, kitchen, bathroom, 2 bedrooms, laundry/will be painting in room, and then a mud room. (which i love haveing)

I will even have a chicken coop out back- so, been reading up on chickens!

I will be mega busy (and broke :P) for the next year fixing it up. Want all new flooring, paint everything!, new bathroom sink, new cupboards, recessed lighting, new curtains, a deck, and some gardens fenced out and planted - whew! Wont close on it till end of august, but as long as nothing goes wrong.. (cross your fingers for me! Im always afraid some dumb last min thing will happen)Here are some pics--

Hopefully, in time, this will be a super cute and awsome place to be. The yard is wonderful and I love all the trees and land. Just the buildings that need some attention.

Ive got plans and plans upon plans.

-Pergo for all the floors except in the mud room and bathroom.

-Kitchen, dining room and bath need new lighting.

-Bathroom vanity needs to go and a pedistal sink instead.

-Gonna tackle painting the tub- apparently there is stuff for this- as mine is green and that just wont do.

-want a wrap around deck from front door (which is actually on side of house) and wrap around to back yard and then steps down into that.

-have several gardens planned out

ugg, so many things I cant even begin to type as it would take all morning.
