First day of a new year. Resolutions... I am a firm believer in making inward self improvement resolutions on ones birthday. Since that is a persons new year on this earth. However, I do make outward ones or social/economic ones on the new calendar year as I am very aware that most everyone else runs this way.

As such, this year I resolve to get my debt gone.. which I had already started doing a few months ago with the addition of my second job. So, not sure that one counts. Then I resolve to keep in better touch with all my satellite friends. And lastly, I resolve to donate more of my time to things not directly beneficial to myself. Things such as volunteer activities or something as simple as offering to drive my little sister to the movies etc.

I had a pretty decent new years eve. Paul and I drove up to the cities in a nasty snow storm to attend a party. All old friends of his I had never befor met, so that made the evening a little less fun then if we had stayed in town and hung with people I know. But they were all very nice so that helped. We drank a lot of corse and there was pictionary and there was picture takeing. We all clanged champange at the moment of the new year and hummed that song no one knows the words to. Pretty typical new years eve party.
