I want to talk about War of the Worlds- if you havent seen it and want to then dont read this as I will be spoiling it. I actually saw it a couple of weeks ago but its still pissing me off and I didnt have access to a pc!

OK so, first off, 10 minutes into it I was irritated! So these machines have been below the Earths surface all this time and we never found them before- ok, I can buy that- we havent been down real deep yet. So, lets say these machines are down there. Ok, they would have to be .. more than 12 miles under the surface as we have been that far down in many continents. Ok, so, ground rumbles, ship bursts out and about half a dump truck worth of dirt flies out with it- ARRRRRR wheres the 12 miles of fucking dirt!!!!

Then the ships have the ability to vaporize anything it wants and yet it has to send a probey snake thing through the house to look for people- and not even with inferred or something so Tommy boy there is ducking and hiding from a camera on a cord from a ship that can vaporize flesh out of its clothing- arrrrrrr!

Then the end! OH JEEEEEEZE ok, I understand the original that the aliens did get the common cold or some other airborne virus from us- but steven could have done a bit better job with the wrap up in my opinion. Instead of just haveing a machine fall over, then paning up to a fricking tree with a voice telling us they got the cold! What, did they run out of money towards the end!

Yet another movie that could have been done so well, .... yet..... wasnt.

There were some parts I liked and some people did a good job, but all in all- a waste of my money and time.
