So, I have been reading through some of my fasting books. They list valid reasons to go on an extended fast, religion, health, weight loss, dental work. But no where, in any of my books was poverty listed. Not even a 2 or 3 day fast just to make it till payday when you can buy grocerys again. Humph! Bastards. How very short sighted of them. I think poverty is the most legitimate reason for fasting of all. Whatever.

Actually, I have over this summer gotten very good at a 4 day fast. Its quick and easy. And I have the pace of it down real well. I dont even really prepare for these being so short and only once have I gotten sick when I came off one that short- and that was due to a BBQ birthday bash I went to first day off a fast- dumb dumb dumb and the thing is, you know better. Oh well. So, I am into day 2 of this fast, I shall be on it till Friday afternooon. I feel cleaner already :P
