All the rugs in the house are straight and square. That can only mean one thing.

My little Podunk is still not here.

We looked for a few hours again last night. But it seems futile. I am certain by this point that she has been taken. That is what the pound said too. Its alright.... as long as they love her.

I will miss her most this weekend as we are going to the boathouse.

I will miss her barking at the fish I pull out of the river.

I will miss her precious sigh at the end of the day when she finally gives up the fight to be part of the excitement and goes to sleep.

I will miss how aweful she will smell after foolishly jumping in the river.

I will miss her silly ears flapping out the window all the way home in the afternoon sun.

Goodbye Podunk. I just hope you are safe.
