Alright..so, this is it. I am sitting and at my desk no less. The room is as done as its gonna get until another pay day. We have tapped ourselves good on this project. Roughly 800 in paint, flooring, drywall and all that crap. Then another 300 today on chairs and window treatments. All in all, its mac and cheese till next friday.

All thats left really is the crown molding, a couple rugs, and some touch ups on the paint.

We went shopping for 2 matching chairs and a footstool today. Not kitchen or desk chairs but comfy sit down and read a book chairs. But we could only spend 250. Yikes! So we went all around town....most armchairs are about 200 each. Luckily, we wandered into Pier 0ne and they had their papasan chairs half off! So we got two chairs with red cushions and a foot stool with a yellow cush. Hopefully tomorrow I can get some photos up. Tonight I have to continue to get the construction dust that despite our best tarping efforts is in every nook and crany of the house.

One a stranger note of late: Derek has been slowly turning into a bit of an anarchist. He wants me to run round town and stick propaganda up on phone booths and such all the time. One of the stickers says "This phone is tapped thanks to the US Patriot Act of 2001, Sec. 216 of which permits all phome calls to be recorded without a warrant or notification" The other sticker says "You are under surveillance" and then a bunch of other stuff about. He got them from crimethinc .
