As you may or may not know, I work in a customer service type job. One of my many duties is answereing silly questions on the phone.
While I try to remind myself that people are stupid and there is nothing I can do about it until I take over the world...sometimes I can't take it!
Every fucking day, I answere one particular question roughly 30 times. I get the same fricking response and subsequent question at least 28 of the 30 times. It goes like this:
me: blah blah blah customer service may I help you?
them: ya, um, (then way way too many words to just ask) when is the badge shop open?
me: 6am to 4pm monday through friday.
them: oh.....so,...... I could stop down now?
me: I dont know, what time is it...hmmm...1 pm (or 2 or 11 or any one of the other fricking hours between 6am and 4pm!!!!!!!)....let me think....ya that would work.
It's people like these that make people like me need medication!
