I look like I recently starred in the Day of the Dead.

In feel even worse. My ears are on fire, my nose is red and runny, my eyes are puffy, and my swollen glands make me look like a hamster stocking up for the winter.

All day, whenever someone would see me, they would retreat in fear spouting things like, "please no, I have a wife and kids at home!"

One would think that when I asked to leave and stop infecting everyone else, my employers would gladly say yes. However, as I have previously explained- my job sucks.

Thus, I was instead told as I coughed blood into a napkin "Jamie, we are all a bit run down. But you dont see us calling in sick."

And, as I gathered my snot rags and bottles of pills to return to my desk they said, "oh, and could you work Saturday?"

Now, in my mind, I replied, "what degree did you graduate out of Idiot School with that would make you think I would say yes?" But in reality, I muttered something about checking my schedual ..blah..blah..blah.

God I'm a puss.
