A dear friend of mine is in the process of aquireing a piece of my art. I do not actively attempt to sell my work. I would never be able to make a liveing at it. Photography is my first passion. I would be very happy to earn my income at that. You can always make another print.

A painting is like a child. A piece of you. It reminds you of a moment in time. While I have only given perhaps half a dozen paintings away..I miss each one. But I gain so much more joy from shareing my art that it makes up for it.

The first painting I gave was to a friend in CA. He loved this one painting so much! Thought it would be his "indicator". Its the one on my page of the doves flying out of the vagina. He found it to be beautiful yet disturbing. He believed that when he had females over he would be able to determine whether they were keepers by their reaction to the painting. I laugh everytime I think of it. Hanging in his liveing room. Frightening women away! Its a very poetic piece. Doves covered in blood flying out a vagina. Symbolic of the loss of virginity. "Liberated Innocence".

Then I gave my Grandmother a painting of a woman sleeping with child in the desert. And then my friend Jenny (p00h here in DL). She is the first person I have ever tried to paint. Its different then just painting some face you have conjured up. I will cherish the surprize and honor in her face when I presented it to her -forever. She had no idea I was working on a painting of her. I used photos to help me and kept my work hidden until it was done.

I love to paint. I love my paintings (although I am my harshest critic) They decorate every wall of my home. I am too sentimental some times though. I only hope that my new friend will love it as much as she does the photos. Thank you- and good night.
