I am absolutly shocked that more people do not commit suicide by 25. I mean, you grow up being told all this non-sense about how you can be anything you want and if you try hard..blahblahblah. And then one day you wake up and realize that probley 1% -if that of folks actualy become sombody..ya know someone whos life makes a difference-I dont mean in the Hallmark card comercial sort of way but a real difference in the world and history. The rest of us just live and die in obscurity. And then if you think about it..even those people that make a difference and are remembered for any length of time after they are gone..it still doesnt matter. Because as soon as the morons in charge of things set off some bombs or the next ice age hits anything anyone has done will be gone and forgotten anyway. Life is so overwhelmingly pointless. Get up..go to work...go to bed..get up ..go to work...blahblah blah. And filling children with all these wishywashy ideas just sets them up for the let down. I can still remember the day that I realized for certain I would never be batman. I was 24 and I just cried and cried and cried. Ya know..when your little you want to be a rockstar or a moviestar - batman..ect. and then one day you find out that realy you are just gonna have some mediocer job that numbs your mind and makes you old. Just another number in the big machine of life.
